Poem Ten – An Unlove Poem

Poem Ten – An Unlove Poem

April 10, 2013

I dream about you

(in my nightmares)

I fall off a cliff

And land on you

My teeth fall out

And you pilfer them

Stuff them under your pillow

And reap the reward

I fly like a pigeon

But you are a 747

And suck me into your engines

Chew me up and spit me out

My feathers choke you and you crash to your death

I take a test

And let you copy my answers

But I haven’t been to class all semester

So all the questions are in Greek

I fail and so do you

I dream about you

(in my nightmares)
